Call for Comments on the Proposed Department Circular on “Prescribing for the Implementing Rules and Regulations of LPG Bill”

The Department of Energy, through the Oil Industry Management Bureau is requesting all interested parties to submit comments and recommendations to the Draft Joint Department Circular entitled “Prescribing the Implementing Rules and Regulations of Republic Act 11592 or LPG Industry Regulation Act”. Submission of comments and recommendations by interested parties should be made on or before 17 December 2021 through:

The Department of Energy would like to inform all stakeholders that the Philippine Energy Labelling Program (PELP) Product Registration for Refrigerating Appliances, Air Conditioning Units (ACUs) and Television Sets will commence by 03 January 2022. All Importers, Manufacturers and Distributors of Refrigerating Appliances, Air Conditioners and Television Sets are enjoined to register through the PELP Online Registration portal using the link: https://pelp.doe.gov.ph/.

For the guidelines and requirements for product registration, applicants may refer to the PELP Implementing Guidelines on Registration, Enforcement, Monitoring, Verification and Compliance Mechanism through this link: Related Laws, Issuances and Implementing Guidelines | Department of Energy (www.doe.gov.ph).
