Undersecretary Donato Marcos stated that through this process we are now closely reaching our goal of creating a progressive electric vehicle industry in the country.
"The conduct of this bidding process for the E-Trike Project serves not only to come up with a lowest calculated responsive bidder/supplier, but most especially to provide a transparent avenue for this single largest project of the DOE." said Usec. Marcos.
Consistent with the published terms, bidders will undergo a 2-week evaluation to clear all the necessary documents and details after the bidding process.
The E-Trike Project is largely supported financially by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Clean Technology Fund (CTF) with the project’s objective to reduce the transport sector’s annual petroleum consumption by 2.8% and achieve 79% carbon footprint avoidance.
