Invitation for Public Consultations (PubCon) on Various Draft Department Circulars (DC)

The Department of Energy through the Renewable Energy is pleased to announce the conduct of a Public Consultation which will be held on the schedules indicated in the table below to discuss the following draft department circulars:

  1. Prescribing the Amendments to Department Circular No. DC2017-12-0015, otherwise known as “The Renewable Portfolio Standards (RPS) Rules for On-Grid Areas”;
  2. Promulgating the Revised Rules and Guidelines Governing the Operationalization of the Renewable Portfolio Standards for Off-Grid Areas Pursuant to Section 12 of the Renewable Energy Act of 2008.

CALL FOR COMMENTS:

The Department of Energy through the Renewable Energy is hereby requesting all concerned and interested parties to submit comments and recommendations to the Draft Department Circular, “Promulgating the Revised Rules and Guidelines Governing the Operationalization of the Renewable Portfolio Standards for Off-Grid Areas Pursuant to Section 12 of the Renewable Energy Act of 2008.”
