On behalf of the Department of Energy, I would like to express my sincerest appreciation to my colleagues at the Department, the members of the Energy family and the Energy Task Force Election, as well as our industry stakeholders for doing everything in your respective capacities to ensure the continuity of energy services for our National and Local Elections (NLE). 

More than being a united energy sector, we are Filipinos. This, I believe, further strengthened our resolve to accomplish all that must be done to help protect the sanctity of the vote in our beloved country. 

We knew how great the tasks ahead of us were, and despite the potentially debilitating pessimism of alarmist claims, each and every one of you delivered. The countless hours of hard work and dedication have paid off, as the NLE were successfully conducted without the occurrence of any major power crisis.

Maraming salamat po sa inyong masusing paghahanda, 

Sa inyong masugid na pagsubaybay sa ating sitwasyong pang-enerhiya,

Sa inyong agarang pagtugon sa mga naiulat na maliliit na antala sa lokal na antas,

Sa inyong walang sawang paninilbihan para sa isang maliwanag na Pilipinas.
