The DOE Gender and Development Focal Point System (GAD-FPS) headed by Dir. Mylene C. Capongcol figured prominently in the recognition given to the Department of Energy as Institutional Citation Awardee during the Girl Scouts of the Philippines (GSP) 24th National Council Convention and Triennial Awards in Tagaytay City last Saturday.

Capongcol figured prominently in the recognition given to the Department of Energy as Institutional Citation Awardee during the Girl Scouts of the Philippines (GSP) 24th National Council Convention and Triennial Awards in Tagaytay City last Saturday.

The award cited DOE's unwavering support to GSP through its ENEReady and EnerKids programs.

Aligned with the DOE's #EPowerMo campaign, the #ENEReady and #EnerKids programs aim to promote gender balance and development in the energy sector and educate the younger generation on energy efficiency and conservation measures.
