ICYMI: DOE Holds In-Person and Virtual Job Fair

TAGUIG CITY – The Department of Energy (DOE), through its Human Resource Management Division (DOE-HRMD), held a job fair from 8 to 9 November 2021.

"To serve your country is a great honor. In my experience, being given the opportunity to work for the Filipino people is both humbling and fulfilling. I encourage those who are seeking employment to consider joining the DOE - we need talented people like you, your country needs you," Secretary Alfonso G. Cusi said.

The Energy chief highlighted the importance of having a team of competent and dedicated individuals, as realizing the country's goals of attaining energy security, equity, and sustainability is no easy feat.

To help jobseekers during this pandemic, the DOE-HRMD also integrated a virtual component in this year's job fair.

The DOE-HRMD received 207 online applications, while 18 individuals opted to submit their applications in person.

As of November 17, 60 applicants with Civil Service eligibility were scheduled for online assessment.
