The Department of Energy (DOE) reiterates the advisory to the public and energy stakeholders of unscrupulous individuals posing as DOE officials and employees soliciting money from energy firms for various purposes.

In lieu of the foregoing, may we inform you that this mobile number 09174647548 or any relative number for that matter has no connection with the Department.

Government officials and employees are not allowed to solicit money in accordance with the Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees (Republic Act 6713). 

With these occurrences, we encourage you to report text messages or calls from these individuals and to verify authenticity of texts and calls received from DOE through the Office of the Secretary’s official numbers: 840-2134 and 840-2008.
