As published in two (2) broadsheets, Daily Tribune and Business World, on 26 February 2024, two (2) Pre-Determined Areas (PDAs) for the development and production of petroleum in areas with confirmed resources within the Northwest Palawan and Southern Cebu basins are offered by the Philippine Department of Energy (DOE) to interested applicants.

NOTICE OF APPLICATION WITH INVITATION TO BID
FOR DEVELOPMENT AND PRODUCTION PETROLEUM SERVICE CONTRACT
and NATIVE HYDROGEN SERVICE CONTRACT
This is to inform the public that the DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY (DOE) is offering two (2) areas for the development and production of petroleum with confirmed resources in Northwest Palawan and Southern Cebu Basins, as seen in the maps below and is bounded by the following geographical coordinates:

Interested applicants may submit their respective bids for the above-offered areas in accordance with, and subject to, the timeline and procedures stipulated in DOE Department Circular No. DC2023-12-0033 (“Guidelines on the Awarding of Petroleum Service Contracts for Development and Production”)
A. Timeline
i. Publication Date – Day 1
ii. Pre-submission Conference – Twenty (20) calendar days from the publication date
iii. Deadline for the Submission of documents by Applicants – One hundred and eighty (180) calendar days from the publication date on or before 1100H at the DOE Records Section
iv. Opening of Documents – One hundred and eighty (180) calendar days from the publication date at 1330H at the DOE AVR
