FOR COAL OPERATING CONTRACT
PURSUANT TO THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL ENERGY BOARD (IEB) CIRCULAR

This is to inform the public that the DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY (DOE) AND THE MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT, NATURAL RESOURCES, AND ENERGY (MENRE) OF THE BANGSAMORO GOVERNMENT is offering COAL BLOCK NOS. 40-J-256, 40-J-257, 40-J-259, 40-J-260, 40-J-295, 40-J-298, 40-J-299, 40-J-300, 40-J-301, 40-J-335, and portions of 40-J-254, 40-J-255, 40-J-258, 40-J-261, 40-J-294, 40-J-296, 40-J-297, and 40-J-334 covering 14,856 hectares for coal exploration located in the MUNICIPALITIES OF KAPAI AND TAGOLOAN II, LANAO DEL SUR as seen in the map below and is bounded by the following geographical coordinates:

Interested applicants may submit their respective bids for the above offered area in accordance with, and subject to, the timeline and procedures stipulated under the Joint Review and Evaluation Committee (Joint REC) Rules and Procedures on the Application for and Award of Coal Operating Contract (COC) in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).

A. Timeline

i. Publication Date – Day 1
ii. Pre-submission Conference – Twenty (20) calendar days from the publication date, at the Ministry of Environment, Natural Resources, and Energy (MENRE) Conference Room or in any other designated venue as may be determined by Joint REC.

iii. Deadline for the Submission of documents by Applicants – Sixty (60) calendar days (2 months) from the publication date on or before 1100H at the MENRE Energy Management and Development Services (EMDS) or in any other designated venue as may be determined by the Joint REC.

iv. Opening of Documents – Sixty (60) calendar days (2 months) from the publication date (same day of deadline for the submission of documents by applicants), 1400H, at the MENRE Conference Room or in any other designated venue as determined by the Joint REC.

FOR PETROLEUM SERVICE CONTRACT
PURSUANT TO THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL ENERGY BOARD (IEB) CIRCULAR

This is to inform the public that the DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY (DOE) AND THE MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT, NATURAL RESOURCES, AND ENERGY (MENRE) OF THE BANGSAMORO GOVERNMENT is offering PDA-BARMM-P-1 covering 229,240 hectares for petroleum exploration located in COTABATO CITY and the PROVINCES OF LANAO DEL SUR, MAGUINDANAO DEL NORTE AND MAGUINDANAO DEL SUR as seen in the map below and is bounded by the following geographical coordinates:

Additionally, the DOE and MENRE are offering two (2) areas for petroleum exploration in the BARMM PDA-BARMM-P-2, encompassing 780,000 hectares, and PDA-BARMM-P-3, covering 532,083 hectares, both of which are located in the SULU SEA, as shown on the maps below, and are delimited by the following geographical coordinates:

Interested applicants may submit their respective bids for the above offered area in accordance with, and subject to, the timeline and procedures stipulated under the Joint Review and Evaluation Committee (Joint REC) Rules and Procedures on the Application for and Award of Petroleum Service Contract (PSC) in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).
