The Department of Energy through its Investment Promotion Office has continued its streak of conducting the 2016 Mindanao Energy Investment Forum on July 28 at Grand Regal Hotel, Davao City. In its 7th year of promoting energy investments in the region, the activity gathered over 200 stakeholders from different sectors. Aimed to provide updates on investment opportunities, the forum has become an avenue to discuss the Department of Agrarian Reform’s Procedural Requirements on Land Conversion for Energy Projects, National Grid Corporation of the Philippines’ Transmission Development Plan in the Mindanao Region, Development Bank of the Philippine’s Financing Facilities for Energy Projects, and nv vogt’s Experiences in the Implementation of Renewable Energy Projects.
