CALL FOR REGISTRATION

Pursuant to the issuance of the Department Circular No. DC2023-05-0014 Revised Rules and Guidelines Governing the Operationalization of the Renewable Portfolio Standards for Off-Grid Areas the Philippine Energy Market Corporation, as the interim Renewable Energy Registrar (RER), under the supervision on DOE, officially call for the REM Participants on 01 December 2023.

Pursuant to Rule 4 of the said Circular, the following entities in off-grid areas are required to comply with their Minimum Annaul RE Generation/RPS Off-Grid Requirements:

• Generation Companies including NPC-SPUG, NPPs and Micro-Grid System Service Providers;
• Distribution Utilities and Local Government Unit/s (LGU/s) operating electric system/s in off-grid areas; and
• Other identities which may later be identified by the DOE.

Pursuant to section 5 (f) of the DC2019-12-0016 known as the REM Rules, all REM Participants shall comply with the registration requirements. Kindly visit the Download Center at www.wesm.ph for the list of requirements and submit the applicable documentary requirements. The RER will coordinate with you for the processing of your application in the REM. Please submit your REM membership applications to the following:
