DECLARATION OF REMOTE AND UNVIABLE AREAS PURSUANT TO SECTION 59 OF THE EPIRA AND RULE 14 OF ITS IMPLEMENTING RULES AND REGULATIONS
NOTICE is hereby given that the areas indicated in the attached list have been declared open for the provision of electric service by Qualified Third Parties (QTPs) pursuant to Section 59 of the Electric Power Industry Reform Act of 2001 otherwise known as EPIRA and Rule 14 of its Implementing Rules and Regulations. The Cagayan Electric Cooperative II (CAGELCO II) having franchise obligations over these remote and unviable areas issued Board Resolution No. 034-0507 "Resolution Waiving the Franchise to Operate in Sixty Six (66) Sitios in the Province of Apayao in Favor of a Qualified Third Party".
