TURN-OVER CEREMONY. Outgoing Acting Secretary Jose C. Ibazeta turned-over the DOE Flag symbolizing the transfer of powers and responsibilities to the new DOE Secretary Jose Rene D. Almendras in a ceremony held at the DOE-Audio Visual Room last 05 July 2010. Prior to joining the DOE, Secretary Almendras served as Managing Director and President of Manila Water Company Inc. of the Ayala Corporation and has held various top level positions at the Ayala Group of companies, the Aboitiz Group of companies and at the country’s topnotch banking institutions, namely: Citytrust Banking Corporation, Citibank and the Bank of the Philippine Islands.
