The BATANELCO crew is currently working on the next feeder to restore power to the remaining member consumer owners.

For the oil sector, Petron station reported that there are no damages on fuel station in Basco and its Fuel Supply will is expected to be normal at 60 kilo liter per month.

While the DOE is working towards normalization of the energy services in Batanes Province, it is reminding the public that a price freeze for household LPG and kerosene may be  enforced for 15 days after the declaration of a state of emergency by competent authorities in the affected area.

The DOE-TFER continues to assure the public that is closely monitoring the situation, and has all relevant assets on standby for immediate deployment.
