Energy Undersecretary Felix William Fuentebella meets with the officers of the Camarines Sur Electric Cooperative II (CASURECO II) during his visit to Naga City yesterday (November 26). 

Undersecretary Fuentebella was informed by the officials that power restoration in the affected areas is nearing 100%.

The Energy Undersecretary, who is set to visit more areas affected by recent natural calamities to check on power restoration efforts, told the CASURECO II officials: “We should not let the families, specifically those living along the coastal areas, to be without power. We should find ways to restore electricity at the soonest possible time,” Undersecretary Fuentebella.

The electric cooperative officials assured the Department of Energy (DOE), through Undersecretary Fuentebella, that power restoration efforts are in full swing to meet their original target of bringing power back in time for the Christmas season.
