MANDAUE CITY, CEBU - DOE Undersecretary Alexander S. Lopez (seated center) with Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) member economies during the APEC Workshop on Improving Electric Grid Resilience to Natural Disaster being held from 19-21 September 2019 at the Bai Hotel. 

The workshop aims to discuss methodologies for evaluating natural disaster risks to power system resources, infrastructure, and communities; climate-driven natural disaster risk screening for grid and community resiliency planning; and integrated natural disaster improvements and response analysis to support grid and community decision-making.
