(Taguig City.) The Department of Energy (DOE) is advising the energy participants and stakeholders to be aware of the unusual and illegitimate calls from unknown individuals posing as Energy Secretary Alfonso G. Cusi.

The Office of the Secretary has been receiving reports regarding these individuals asking for donations/solicitations for certain projects, events or programs to extort money or gain favors.

We warn the public that such acts (i.e., Illegal Solicitations) are not authorized nor tolerated by Secretary Cusi and should be reported immediately to his office through the DOE Trunkline No. 4792900.
