TAGUIG CITY - The entire energy family, through the Task Force on Energy Resiliency (TFER), has been on full alert in view of Taal Volcano's eruption earlier this afternoon.

Coordination with all concerned agencies and entities has been initiated by the Department of Energy (DOE). An energy situation update will be immediately released as soon all pertinent information becomes available.

In the meantime, the DOE would like to remind the public, especially those living in nearby areas, to stay alert and be aware of potential hazards and safety concerns.
