Pursuant to Chapter III, Section 37 (d) of Republic Act No. 9136 otherwise known as the Electric Power Industry Reform Act (EPIRA) which mandates the Department of Energy to ensure the reliability, quality and security of supply of electric power, the Power Supply Review Committee is hereby created to address the power supply situation in the Visayas.
