The Oil Industry Management Bureau (OIMB) in pursuant to Republic Act No. 8479 “An Act Deregulating the Downstream Oil Industry, and for Other Purposes”, formulates and implements policies, plans, programs and regulations on the downstream oil industry, including the importation, exportation, stockpiling, storage, shipping, transportation, refining, processing, marketing and distribution of petroleum crude oils, products and by- products and monitors developments in the downstream oil industry.
