The Department of Energy - Consumer Welfare and Promotion Office (DOE-CWPO) thanks Vice President Sara Duterte and the Department of Education (DepEd) for recognizing the EnerKids Program as a valuable contributor to the MATATAG Agenda for DepEd's Basic Education and Development Plan.

The EnerKids Program conducted energy conservation education and encouraged its practical application to 463 student leaders and advisers from 81 public schools nationwide in 2023. This significant strides in energy literacy was made possible with the collaboration of the Schools Division Offices (SDO) of various regions.
