Formulates and implements policies, programs and government regulations and standards on data and information resource management

Energy Data Center

  • formulates policy recommendations on statistical, technical and geoscientific data management
  • implements policies, plans and programs on statistical, technical and geoscientific data management
  • maintains statistical, technical and geoscientific data in the form of reports, maps, photographs, digital tapes and rock samples form DOE units, service contractors and other clientele
  • develops and implements a pricing policy/mechanism for the Department's data
  • ensures compliance with statutory/contractual obligations relative to data submissions
  • coordinates wiith various DOE units and concerned government agencies, industry participants, academe and other stakeholders on matters related to the above-enumerated functions
  • performs ad hoc functions as may be assigned

  • formulates policy recommendations on library management and one-stop information center
  • implements policies, plans and programs on library management and one-stop information center
  • procures and maintains vital data and information in the form of books, journals and other printed materials, audio-visual materials and data and information from the Internet
  • administers the bibliographic database management system
  • maintains a one-stop information center
  • coordinates with various DOE units and concerned government agencies, industry participants, academe and other stakeholders on matters related to the above-enumerated functions
  • performs ad hoc functions as may be assigned

  2. Have request form approved by PRDD Chief, IDMD Chief and ITMS Director
  3. Select data needed against search list
  4. Request EDCP staff to retrieve data
  5. Indicate type of service provided
  6. Sign transmittal list
  7. Get data from EDCP staff
  8. Pay fees and charges at the Doe Cashier or request to be billed later.
