SECRETARY CUSI INSPECTS DOE'S LUZON FIELD OFFICE BUILDING CONSTRUCTION

PANGASINAN PROVINCE - Department of Energy (DOE) Secretary Alfonso G. Cusi led the site inspection of the on-going construction of the DOE-Luzon Field Office’s (LFO) building on 14 October, located in the municipality of Rosales.

The building, being constructed by the Department of Public Works and Highways, is located on a 1,000 square meter parcel of land, with 1,200 square meters of office space. The funding allocation was sponsored by Deputy Speaker Conrado Estrella III (ABONO Party-list) through the General Appropriations Act FY 2018. 

Secretary Cusi said, “We conducted the site inspection to ensure the integrity of the structure, proper implementation and compliance to the safety condition standards and practices. We want the home of our Luzon Field Office to be safe, energy efficient and resilient.” 

Undersecretary Donato D. Marcos, Assistant Secretary Gerardo Erguiza Jr. and the Luzon Field Office personnel were also present to check the progress of the construction activities.
