DOE Extends CY2025 Energy Compliance Deadline Amid National Energy Emergency
(Taguig City) The Department of Energy (DOE) has extended the deadline for the submission of CY2025 compliance reports of Designated Establishments (DEs) to 15 May 2026, in line with the state of national energy emergency under Executive Order No. 110 and ongoing efforts to stabilize energy supply and strengthen demand-side management.
The extension covers the Annual Energy Utilization Report (AEUR) and Annual Energy Efficiency and Conservation Report (AEECR), as well as Energy Audit Reports (EARs) where applicable. All submissions must be filed through the DE Online Submission Portal (https://de.eumb.ph), with off-portal submissions considered invalid to ensure data accuracy and system-wide monitoring.
Amid global supply pressures, the move ensures that the government captures reliable, high-quality energy data to guide responsive policies, optimize energy use, and reinforce conservation measures under the emergency framework. DEs are likewise reminded to continue submitting their monthly Energy Efficiency and Conservation (EEC) implementation reports in accordance with DOE requirements.
