Formulates and implements policies, programs and government regulations and standards on information and communications technology (ICT) services, geomatics and information packaging
Computer Services Section
- formulates policy recommendations on acquisition, distribution and maintenance of ICT resources and services
- implements policies, plans and programs on acquisition, distribution and maintenance of ICT resources and services
- maintains and ensures effective operation of computer hardware and software, peripherals and accessories
- facilitates contracted/in-house training, services and undertakings in ICT
- provides technical support to the Bids and Awards Committee relative to e-bidding and ICT resource acquisition
- coordinates with various DOE units and concerned government agencies, industry participants, academe and other stakeholders on matters related to the above-enumerated functions
- performs ad hoc functions as may be assigned
