EV Advisory:
DID YOU KNOW?
Electric mobility is steadily transforming the way we travel. Through the implementation of the Electric Vehicle Industry Development Act (EVIDA), the Department of Energy (DOE) recognizes electric vehicle models available in the Philippine market, helping build a more sustainable and future-ready transportation sector.
These recognized EVs come in different types: Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) powered solely by batteries; Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEVs) powered by both batteries and fuel; Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEVs) that can be charged from an external power source; and Light Electric Vehicles (LEVs) used for micromobility, such as e-scooters and e-bikes.
