PUBLIC CONSULTATION ON THE DRAFT DEPARTMENT CIRCULAR
“Providing the Implementation Readiness Framework for the Recalibration of the Fifth Round of the Green Energy Auction for Offshore Wind, and Authorizing the Amendment of the GEA-5 Terms of Reference”
The Department of Energy (DOE) hereby announces the posting of the draft Department Circular (DC) for the Fifth Round of the Green Energy Auction Program (GEA-5).
The draft DC sets forth the proposed recalibration of the GEA-5 to align the program with current policy directions and prevailing market conditions, and to ensure the integrity, transparency, and competitiveness of the auction process.
In this regard, the DOE shall conduct a Virtual Public Consultation with the offshore wind energy sector and other relevant stakeholders with the following details:

The draft DC may be downloaded from the DOE website, and interested stakeholders may submit written comments and recommendations to the Renewable Energy Management Bureau on or before the indicated deadline.
